The news stories on the media talked about recalling all Segways for a software update. As far as I’m concerned there is no great hurry. The trouble happens when you over speed and the handle automatically pulls back. Then you hop off the platform and then immediately hop back on. That is a situation that would almost never happen and now that you are aware of it there should be a very slight chance of it the occurring. I will contact a local Segway dealer and have the problem corrected.
